The project began under Harvard University from a student named Laila Nasher. A young muslim girl who brought the project to my door. The logo design was made by myself and it launched the instagram account. 

The green represents the awareness ribbon for sexual harassment. The pink symbolizes femininity and power through the women. The name of the project is "Her Strength" to signify a girls strength. That the women around her have her back and she's not alone. 

Women in the Arab community do seem to be taken advantage of while they are in a state they can not control. An example could be a woman who may not know how to communicate correctly, or another that may not have the ability to leave a abusive relationship. This foundation is to bring a voice to those women.
